​Tasha Van Zandt is an international photographer, art director and Emmy nominated director with bases in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York. She is a creator of cross-media projects for some of the world's leading brands and has been recognized for numerous awards and features worldwide. Tasha recently was selected as one of Photoboite’s top 30 female photographers to watch in 2016 and was selected as one of AdFed's top 32 Under 32 creatives for 2015. Her photographs can be seen in publications around the globe and for commercial clients such as Levi’s, Converse, Visa, and National Geographic. 

Tasha is dedicated to using visual storytelling as a tool to create positive social change on a global scale. Having explored, traveled and photographed over 35 countries around the globe, Tasha firmly believes that deep cultural understanding inspires the most effective storytelling and it is her goal to produce transformative content in order to build cultural bridges that lead to greater global understanding.

Tasha's unique background in both photojournalism and as a commercial art director for some of the top agencies across the globe truly sets her apart. Her background in photojournalism gives her a rare ability to capture genuine, authentic, moment-driven storytelling. While her background in the commercial realm gives her a unique understanding and expertise in all aspects of creative concepting and production.

In addition to her commercial work, Tasha founded and directs the non-profit Pushing Forward, a program dedicated to empowering girls through skateboarding and photography. She also volunteers as an international advocacy photojournalist for numerous organizations, teaches multiple Art For Social Change based workshops throughout the community, and runs the non-profit program, Viewpoint, which uses photography as a tool to empower communities worldwide.
